How it works

Nothing goes out in your name until you have read it.

The whole thing, in order — from three fields on a signup form to an email that tells you where you are every morning.

Start at step one
  1. 01
    Free

    You sign yourself up

Three fields and an email address, and no card. Your account gets built for you in the background while you carry on with your day.

  2. 02
    Free

You put a customer and a job in

Type a name and what the work is. From then on, everything said about that job — notes, quotes, what stage it is at — hangs off the customer instead of your memory.

  3. 03
    Free

    The job becomes a quote

Line items, your logo, your numbering, your VAT position, out as a branded quote. When it turns into work, the same job becomes the invoice. Issued, paid and void are tracked for you.

  4. 04
    £45/mo

An enquiry comes in and the reply is already written

Someone gets in touch at eleven at night. By the time you look, the reply is waiting in your words, ready to go. You read it, change what you want, press send. It does not send itself.

  5. 05
    £45/mo

And one email in the morning tells you where you are

What came in overnight, what still needs answering, what is on today. It arrives at whatever time actually suits you, not at six if you are not up at six.

The part people ask about

Yes, it is AI. Here is exactly where it starts and stops.

The drafting, the sorting and the morning briefing are done by a model. Everything a customer ever sees was written into a draft, read by you, and sent by you.

What it does

  • Reads the enquiries that come in
  • Works out which ones are real enquiries and which are noise
  • Writes a reply in your words, from how you told us you describe your own work
  • Leaves the reply waiting for you, and stops
  • Flags anything it is not sure about instead of guessing at it

What it never does

  • Send anything to anyone
  • Decide a price, or put a number in a quote
  • Contact a customer directly, by any route
  • Change what you wrote after you have written it
  • Go near anything other than the enquiries that come in

Ownership

It is yours, and it leaves with you.

Your customers, your jobs, your quotes, your invoices, your wording. Ask for it and we export the lot and send it over. Stop paying and it stops, that month, on your say-so.

We would rather earn the next month than lock you into it, and the terms are written that way on purpose.

Common questions

How does it know how I talk?

You tell it. There is one setup screen where you describe how you talk to customers and which senders to ignore — a few minutes, once. Everything it drafts after that comes from what you wrote there, not from a generic template.

What happens when it gets something wrong?

You see it before the customer does, because nothing moves until you send it. If it is unsure whether something is even an enquiry, it flags it rather than writing a confident reply to the wrong thing.

How much of my email does it look at?

Only the enquiries that come in, and only to spot them. You say which senders to ignore, and you can switch the whole thing off whenever you like — the drafting stops that moment.

Do I have to use all of it?

No. Every part switches off on its own without breaking the others. Plenty of people will only ever use customers, quotes and invoices, and that is a complete way to use this.

Who sets it up?

You can do the whole thing yourself in a handful of screens. If you would rather not, write to info@tradestoolbox.co.uk and we will do it with you.

Next step

Step one takes three fields.

Sign up, put in a customer, put in a job, send a branded quote with your name on it. Then decide whether the rest is worth anything to you.
